LeoVegas awarded for exceptionally good response to covid-19

LeoVegas has won the Business Continuity Award at the 2020 Industry Community Awards.

The company took many immediate actions in the beginning of the year when covid-19 pandemic started. Group-wide and local work arrangements, adjusted along the year based on goverments' guidelines, have guaranteed that all projects have progressed in time.

The award is presented to the company that has best implemented an effective remote working implementation initiative before, during or after the current pandemic to ensure not just the business continues to be successful but ensures their workforce is secure and safe.Examples of initiatives LeoVegas has made during the year: Employee Assistance Program helping with mental health, Friday quiz for employees (over 500 joiners); packs themed differently along these past few months have been sent to colleagues; cooking tournaments; eye care webinars; Pride celebration focusing on equality, inclusion and diversity; weekly online fitness classes; internal casino tournaments.

LeoVegas has also contributed to the community locally and internationally in various ways. Examples are handing out lunches to hospital staff, sponsoring with healthcare equipment and a donation of € 10,000 towards the World Health Organisation.

The Industry Community Awards is recognising companies and individuals that have gone above and beyond in tackling major issues due to the global pandemic. The winners of the IC Awards were announced on November 18th, 2020.
