LeoVegas Sponsored Malta Pride For The Third Year In A Row
The main goal of this collaboration is to show LeoVegas’ commitment in embracing diversity and equality in our workforce.
We look at people as individuals and for all intents and purposes you can be whatever you’d like to be – you will feel welcomed and part of the team. As part of this, the majority of our restrooms are gender-neutral. This conduces a better workforce because when people feel accepted, they do not spend their time at the office pretending they’re straight when they’re not.
LeoVegas’ vision and position is “King of Casino". Today we’re over 400 employees at the Malta office, and totally we are 850 employees. LeoVegas diversity of its workforce – be it race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, ability, or sexual orientation, is a part of its success.
To put the words into actions, LeoVegas participates in many initiatives that support diversity and equality. One of them is the sponsorship of Malta Pride, a 10-day festival to celebrate all forms of love and genders. This year’s theme was “From Riots to Rainbows – 50 years since Stonewall”.
LeoVegas kicked off the Pride week by dressing up its office in Sliema with all the colours of the rainbow. Employees have enjoyed a Pride-themed breakfast and lunch and the possibility to spend their breaks by jumping into a ball pit.
The Malta Pride week culminated with a big march and concert on Saturday, the 14th of September. Amongst marchers there were also dozens of LeoVegas employees – enjoying the day as one Team Leo!
